May the light of knowledge ever guide the novice till the attainment of perfect state. May the student live in the beauty of true happiness which the student will spread after knowledge through great effort and hard-work.

The teacher applies ‘Tilak’ on the pupil wishing him/her all the best because the student is launching upon a new phase in life.

The teacher offers the fruit of the pupil with the wish ‘May your life be fruitful’.

The teacher of the symbol signifies the feeling that education must always be built upon the foundation of everlasting universal values.
